CrossFit Camp THRIVE!

Three day a week CrossFit Camp (boot camp if you need to call it that) starting in February!  Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 9:30am. Location: CrossFit Champions .

Camp THRIVE information:

Stop kidding yourself. Unless you are working out with us at CrossFit Champions, your current workout routine is probably a joke. You’ve been sleep-walking from machine to machine at your health club for years with little or nothing to show for your investment. Or worse yet, you’ve cooked up a million excuses as to why you can’t work out. Your back is stiff, you’re too busy, and you’re too old—Come on now, are we that pathetic?

What exactly is CrossFit Camp THRIVE?
-CrossFit Camp THRIVE is a non-traditional way to get in shape and feel great! Through resistance training, movements using client’s body weight, randomized training, and cardiovascular training – you can get a lean, toned body.
-Camps are for individuals who are committed to making a change in their life with the support of a strong community, no matter what walk of life they are coming from.
-Our class structure is based upon simple yet effective fundamental movement patterns executed at high intensity. These workouts deliver time-tested measurable health and fitness improvements. This technology delivers the most effective broad-based fitness results in the most efficient manner possible.

What you can expect from CrossFit Camp THRIVE:

• Core strength and a tighter back side
• Nutrition education
• Function that will apply to any sport as well as every day life
• Accountability of goals for maximum results
• Increase in strength and cardiovascular endurance

CrossFit Camps are scalable to each participant’s level. All movements are scalable via modified body movements or modified weights.

Frequently Asked Questions
-Will it be hard?
Yes, but not impossible.  Challenging but doable.
-Can I keep up?
Yes. Everyone else here started out just like you.
-Do I need to get in shape before I begin working with you?
Absolutely not. We have students who are in the 99th percentile of fitness and those in the 5th percentile of fitness. You are pushed and encouraged based on your CURRENT LEVEL of fitness. All we want is for you to give your best effort on that particular day.
-What kind of results can I expect?
New students can expect about a 15-20% improvement in strength and endurance following the first fifteen sessions. In addition our findings show that flexibility, agility and body composition are improved. Subjective things like increased mental toughness, energy levels, improved sleep and reduced joint stiffness are also reported. Most of our students are shocked at their improvements even though they would consider themselves exercisers.
-What attire should I wear?
Comfortable workout gear and cross training shoes. Cross Training, trail or off road running shoes are most appropriate but any type will do. If your shoes are more than 1 year old you increase the odds of injury. You will also be responsible to bring your own beverage–water.
-How long does Camp THRIVE last and how many sessions are in a CrossFit Camp?
4 weeks on, 1 week off at 3 sessions per week.  Start anytime!  Just come into CrossFit Champions or contact me and get signed up! 
-Can I start in the middle of a THRIVE Camp?
Absolutely!  Start anytime you like.  Regardless of when you start you will receive all 12 sessions.
-Can I get credit or refund if I quit Camp THRIVE before it’s complete?
No. The only exception is a valid medical reason.  Why would anyone quit on the road to health and wellness?
-How long is each workout?
With warm-up, movement instruction, workout and cool-down, each session lasts 45-65 minutes.
-Do you offer any discounts?
Yes.  If you sign up for the 4-week Camp THRIVE with a friend, a discount will be offered.  We also offer the same discount for Teachers, LEO and First Responders.  (If you qualify for a discount, do not sign up online.  Please come to CrossFit Champions to sign up.)
